Summer Performances and Upcoming Projects

Hello, everyone!

Although summer is usually a bit scarce when it comes to performances, I have a lot going on this year. In addition to providing music for a couple services at Village Presbyterian Church in Prairie Village, here are a few upcoming performances that may or may not make my official calendar:

• Liberty Summer Band - Tues. June 27th, 7:30 PM

• Cameron Municipal Band - Every Thursday, 8 PM (ending August 3rd) in McCorkle Park

• Cameron Municipal Band - 4th of July Ceremony, 10AM at Cameron Veteran’s Memorial and Parade at 1 PM

All-State Etude Videos

My MO All-State etude videos are running a bit later than usual this year due to a high volume of playing, but they are recorded and will be released as I finish editing them.

Additionally, I will also be recording the Kansas All-State audition material due to their change in audition procedures. Those will be recorded in the next couple weeks and edited after the Missouri videos.

Future Projects

• After the Missouri and Kansas etude videos are uploaded, I’m going to push ahead another project on YouTube, which is creating a series of videos exploring quality horn solos appropriate for high school students. I’m eager to establish a resource to hopefully address one of the greatest needs in the horn community.

• I’ve started playing with a woodwind quintet we’ve named [La] Gioia Winds. We recently made our debut, and we’re exciting for some upcoming reading sessions to choose new rep!
